The Obediah Cole Foundation

The Obediah Cole Foundation provides information about Prostate Cancer, which affects 230,000 men a year. The foundation is aimed at spreading awareness of and raising funds to fight prostate cancer. Their goal is to alert and screen every man in the Pittsburgh area, particularly the underserved and underinsured populations.

What is Our Mission?

The Mission of the Obediah Cole Foundation is to promote Prostate Cancer Education, Awareness, and Early Detection

Early Detection

Men age 40 and older should talk with their health care professional about having a prostate specific antigen (PSA) blood test every year and a digital rectal exam (DRE).

Robin Cole welcomes the crowd

The Obediah Cole Foundation, The American Cancer Society and the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health and Center for Minority Health teamed up on Saturday, October 1st at the WQED Studios to present Prostate Cancer Conference 2011. One hundred twenty-five prostate cancer survivors and medical, nursing, pharmacy and health sciences students attended.
