We are sorry to report that Ed Anderson has passed away; it is a sad day for all of us.
Ed was the first person I met back in 2002 at a support group meeting. His contribution to our race and the foundation was unbelievable. Ed’s family has played a critical role in the Father’s Day Race every year. We extend our sincere condolences to the Anderson family.

The Obediah Cole Foundation
The Obediah Cole Foundation provides information about Prostate Cancer, which affects 230,000 men a year.
The foundation is aimed at spreading awareness of and raising funds to fight prostate cancer. Their goal is to alert and screen every man in the Pittsburgh area, particularly the underserved and underinsured populations.
What is Our Mission?
The Mission of the Obediah Cole Foundation is to promote Prostate Cancer Education, Awareness, and Early Detection
Screenings
Screenings are held throughout the year, including Prostate Cancer Awareness Month (September).

Early Detection
Men age 40 and older should talk with their health care professional about having a prostate specific antigen (PSA) blood test every year and a digital rectal exam (DRE).
